What you see here
The history lists every event in your organisation, newest first:
- Date/Time of the event.
- Action – for take-outs, returns and take-overs as a status change, for example Available → In use; for administrative events the action itself, such as creating or editing an object, archiving or a PIN change.
- Performed by and Affected user – who acted and, for assignments and take-overs, who is affected.
- Object, Location and Comment.
- Device – whether the event happened in the web app or at a terminal; terminals appear with their name.
- Signature – whether the action was signed.
Above the list sit the Search, the Filter with My personal history, Receipt sent, Action, Location and Entries from – until, the View for showing and hiding columns, and CSV for the export.
What you can do here
- Trace who had an object and when: type the object name into the search and narrow the period with Entries from – until.
- Show your own events with My personal history.
- Check receipts: Receipt sent shows the events for which an email receipt went out.
- Export: CSV creates a file for audits or analysis in a spreadsheet.
The history of a single object is also available on its detail page via More actions → History, and the history of a person on the user detail page via More actions → Show history.
Who sees this page
Visible with the permission View History – granted in all three standard roles, so to everyone. Additional entries about sign-in and user management (User Entries in History), the Device Information and adding a signature retroactively are reserved for Admins and Owners by default. Nothing is ever deleted from the history – not even when a user is deleted or an object is archived.
