A quick scan with any standard smartphone logs checkout and return, with no app to install. At the care station, the terminal at the key rack takes over: sign in, scan many keys in one go, done.

Outpatient care runs in shifts — the client's key changes hands between responsible staff several times a day. With Log+Key, the incoming shift sees at a glance which keys are outstanding and who had them last. No phone call to the colleague who has clocked off, no searching at the key rack — the handover is documented in the system as soon as the key is scanned.
Client keys with a private address — GDPR-compliant
Keys to private homes are especially sensitive. Log+Key hosts exclusively in Germany, staff sign in via PIN (no password that ends up on a sticky note), and access to personal data fields can be restricted by role. Audit-proof history for MDK and care home supervision
Every key checkout and return is recorded with a timestamp, staff name and (on request) a signature. The history cannot be altered and can be exported as a report at any time — valuable for inspections by the Medical Service, care home supervision or internal audits.

Does Log+Key help with MDK inspections?

What happens if the smartphone fails?
Three routes are available in parallel: smartphone, terminal with its own PIN login, or desktop browser. One of the three is always running — you are never dependent on a single device.

How quickly are we live?
For a standard size, expect 2–4 weeks from signing the contract to going live. The bottleneck is usually the delivery of the NFC tags — we number them and attach them to the keyring beforehand so that you can start seamlessly.

Can we test Log+Key before deciding?
Yes. We set up a test account with around 50 NFC tags, you try the system for 2–3 weeks with a small team, then you decide. Request test access.
