Choose the scope freely
Whole stock, selected locations or all objects from a period: you decide what belongs in the stocktake and start right away.

A status per object
Every object moves from open to scanned to in order or faulty, with a description of the fault. When scanning with an Android smartphone, Log+Key also shows the photo for a visual check.

Live statistics and completion
Scanned, in order, faulty: the counters run along during the stocktake. Once completed, the result is unchangeable and serves as proof of stock.

Create the stocktake
Choose the whole stock, individual locations or the objects from a period. All objects included start out as open.

Scan and check
Walk the key rack or the store and scan tag by tag. Every scan sets the object to scanned. If something is not in order, mark it as faulty and note the reason. Objects without a tag are linked beforehand, see NFC tags.

Complete
Whatever is still open at the end is what nobody found. Complete the stocktake, and from then on the result is unchangeable. Tools, devices and vehicles are counted the same way.

How long does a stocktake take with Log+Key?
As long as the scanning takes. A stocktake stays open until you complete it, so you can pause and carry on later. The live statistics show at any time how many objects are still open.

Can I take stock of just one location or only new objects?
Yes. When creating the stocktake you choose the whole stock, individual locations or all objects created within a certain period. That way you check, for example, only one station or only last quarter’s additions.

Does the stocktake work for tools and devices too?
Yes. In Log+Key, keys are one object type like any other. Tools, devices, vehicles or first-aid kits with an NFC tag go through the same stocktake. Read more under inventory management; the features overview lists everything else.
